This blog site is used by my 5/6 grade literacy students. We integrate our literacy with our social studies learning so connections to our writings are connected to this site also. We use this blog to communicate our literacy and social studies experiences. It is our hope that it will be an interactive blog with relevant comments peer to peer and also family members, other educators, and/or interested people. Our blog will continue to change with our learning.

Kids Magezine
One of the articles was about a horse that got beaten because smugglers were working the animal too hard.
When I read that article I felt really sorry for that horse because the rope was cutting through it's skin.

Hoop Docter
BY:Jake Maddox
The best part was when she bumped into a lady in the parking lot and didn't even know it was Docter C. Docter C was tricking Kelsey so that she could find out why she didn't like basketball and corect her.
I used to think that they would lose the game and learn from there masteks and win the next game.
The overall message of the book was if you try your hardest you'll make it.
