INTO NO MAN'S LAND

The worst moment was, when Patrick's tent got hit by a rocket and his friend Professor sight and legs. Patrick almost got killed by sharpnel but his journal stopped the sharpnel from going through his heart, his left leg also got chewed up by the sharpnel but he survived it and they didn't have to have it cut off. I used to think the book was cool, now I think the book is very sad. I learned that I wanted to be a marine but, now I understand that I don't want to be a marine because it can sometimes take your life sometimes.

The book is about how a hedgehog goes to space and save big sparkler. A crater on  planet Mikkop. When I read that I thought that would never happen in my life time . That is because dogs and hedgehogs don't go to space. My thinking tells me that it is not a realistic story. Alot of Jan Brett's books are for the enjoyment of the reader. The illastratoins are very entertaining and help you understand the story.

The book said that Patrick was under attack and he lost more than half his squad. When I read that I thought that was very sad that so many of them had been killed protecting our country.  Now I understand that I would be freaking out if I was in the Vietnam War also I would  be totally scared. Being shot at is really scary when you don't know where the shots are coming from.
