The Blog about Flush By KKA 5-7-14

Blog of Flush

The book Flush by Carl Hiaasen Shows Noah’s mom weighed 110 lbs, but doesn't think small. And just barged in the house like she's trespassing. The book said that Abbey was at the Coral Queen taking a look at night. Noah and his mother and father went to go get her back before it was too late. That means that Abbey was at the sunken Coral Queen probably to do some investigating. It would matter because she’s like a detective and finding some evidence for: What was in there, What did it ever do to him, Who’s casino it was, When it happened, Where it was, Why Noah’s dad sunk the Coral Queen, and How It happened, How he sunk it. That’s exactly why this book is called Flush in the first place. I thought the book had to do with Noah having a pet fish. Speaking of the 5 Ws and 1 How, the book gives you all the answers to those 6 questions.

Shows a boy that is playing on a Nintendo Game Boy™  (GB) and reading skateboard magazines. The book said “Rado claimed that his older sister had gone off to college and gotten a tiny zebra butterfly tattooed on her butt.” I think that maybe it’s against the law to get a permanent tattoo anywhere on the body. Because I’d rather get the kids tattoos than the adults tattoo.

Blog of C.N. (Final) 3-26-14

My Final Blog of C.N. (because i'm on the last page of the book)

The book shows the ending (Yes, I’m almost done with it) of C.N. on pg. 195. The book said, “We high-fived each other, and he headed out. But then he stopped at the door of my bedroom with his hand on the light switch. ‘Oh, and BTW bro,’ (By The Way) he said with a wink, ‘there’s a monster under your bed. *Click*”. What he means that he was just messing with his brother about a monster under his bed. This matters because that’s what bros/sis do, kid around with each other. That was just life exp, why this really matters is because if a monster was really under the bed, it would eat him.

C.N. blog

The book shows that Newt putting an end to C.N. and back to his boring and average life as a kid. The book said, “‘You can’t hang up the cape already!’ Cecil cried. ‘Sorry, guys.’ Newt shook his head sadly. ‘Captain Nobody is Captain no more.” That if C.N. is turning back to Newt, it’ll be done. Which will be the beginning of the end of Captain Nobody. This would matter in real life because otherwise, Ricky’s gonna mess him up big time.

C.N. 3-5-14 blog by KKA

C.N. blog 3-5-14

Shows a hero, a husband and wife, and a  midgety, little, leprechaun robber at the jewelry store on TV. However C.N. was unnoticed though. His friend JJ was answering his mom’s phone. In the book, it said that Newt AKA C.N. was on TV, but unnoticed, and wasn’t very excited about it. JJ was excited however when she saw the news. It took place at the jewelry store with Mr. Sullivan, Mrs. Sullivan Mr.S’s wife, C.N., and a midgety little robbing leprechaun. That means it’s really good and bad at the same time, however this means that the robber wants to steal the jewels in the store just like old times in the past and in some hero movies like DC heroes, and Marvel movies and the Disney’s Incredibles. This totally matters because it’s against the law, and nobody would do that except for robbers, crooks, criminals, burglars, thieves, and prisoners, because otherwise, they’d be in jail. Besides if they put the good guys in jail, they’ll lie and trick the cops, well, they’re innocent.

Tells about a boy talking to a kid about his cousin “Reggie Ranther” (FYI: “Reggie” is my dad’s name) being hassled by Newt’s teammates at that football game. The book said, “‘How ‘bout you shut up?’, Ricky barked. ‘Hey!’ Cecil snapped. ‘If you got a problem with Captain Nobody, you got a problem with us.' Yeah, what she said' shouted everyone on Cecil's side." It means that they’re gonna fight just because C.N.’s brother just own’d his cousin at the big game, and I respect that. (:3) Because Ricky cares about his cousin, and just to say for fun: All these kids just had a fight and it is ugly. (O_o)

Blog of Captain Nobody by Keegan K. Alexander (Week 1)

Captain Nobody

Captain Nobody by Dean Pitchford tells me that there's Newt Newman and his brother Chris Newman at a football game and Chris got knocked into a coma. Chris and Newt went to a football game at night at their school to win the game of the year.  The book said,"Newt Newman never thought he could be a hero. Growing up in the shadow of his football-star brother, Chris, Newt has a hard time even getting noticed by his family. So when Chris is knocked out into a coma during his the biggest game of the season, as usual Newt becomes lost in the whirlwind of concern for his brother". I think it means if Chris is knocked into a coma, then his team would lose the important game of his life. I know that this matters because if they lose, the team will be failures for the year. However that's just the beginning.

Animorphs 15's Last Blog

Animorphs 15 (final)

Huge bubbles were erupting from the underwater facility.  Explosions rocked the sea, like echoing hammer blows through the water. That the underwater volcano is going to erupt like a volcano. Because the Yeerks are letting the destruction happen. So because of that, the animorphs must stop them before it’s too late for them to stop the destruction of doom!  If the volcano erupts then the chips in all of the sharks would liquidate. My summary shows that the underwater volcano is bubbling underwater like blowing bubbles in milk.

The Darkest Path by Jeff Hirsch

The Darkest Path

by: Jeff Hirsch

During the book "The Darkest Path" Cal, Bear, and Nat were in Waylon when the Glorious Path attacked the city. They were picked up by a Fed. helicopter that was sent by Nat's dad. Once they got in, they flew off into the air and watched their city get destroyed as Nat's dad followed behind them in another helicopter.
As they flew off searching for a place to take shelter, their was an air strike that sent Nat's dads helicopter burst into flames. It also sent Cal, Bear and Nat falling through the trees and on to the ground in the middle of nowere. The crash killed the pilot, and put Nat unconscious, while Bear and Cal were panicking.
Cal began hallucinating about about Grey and James coming back. He, Bear, and Nat were picked up by what Cal thought was James and Grey. It was not. It was people they have never met before.
This is a big deal because if they were picked up by Path soldiers than Cal is in big trouble since he killed a cormerant in the Path. If he was picked up by the Fed. then that might not be a bad thing because he is trying to get to that side. But it might not be totally safe since he has been questioned a lot eversince he made it to Fed. territory. The Feds. question whether he is a runaway from the Path or a spy sent in from the Path.

The RED PYRAMID AUSTIN

say:He kept looking over his shoulder like we were being hunted.

mean:He must be followed being by someone or something. It must be dangerous  because he keeps looking behind him.

Matter:In real life you could be hurt from someone following you or get your money stol from them.

Jackie Robinson

                                                          Jackie Robinson

                                                        by: Manfred Weidhorn

Jackie is the character I admire the most because
of how he overcame a weight that was a tenfold
compared to any white man problem. He had to
break the color barrier in baseball. That meant
your race didn't matter if you wanted to play
baseball. This matters to Jackie because his
hard life with a poor family and four brothers
was gone and he was a hero.

Lonek's Journey

This book is an Ebook I got and it really connects to what we are talking about with the Halocaust. So far it's about a boy Lonek and his family are Jewish and Polish and the German came and his family ran away. But they came to were the Russians where and they hid. Then one day they got arrested and they were taken on a train to a gulag. They live in a little shack and they only have potato peelings and water from a far away well. Some other guy told the family that he has been in the gulag for 20 years and no one escapes or they get killed. I wonder if they will all get out alive as a family or if only some will or no one of there family will.

Surviving The Holocaust Zach B

When I left off in Surviving The Holocaust Yulian and mom were heading to a safe environment where there were no Nazis. But when their ride abandons them they are facing the freezing cold by themselves. And they don't get to far before the Russian guards discover them and they are put on train back home.

Love, Aubrey- Abby L

I just started the book Love, Aubrey. I started it Tuesday and was on page 3.. since we didn't have schoolWednesday   I read until page 94. It really keeps you reading. It's a book about a eleven year old girl and how she had a really good life.. then something terrible happens. In the beginning of the book she was alone, this made me think that her family left her, and I was right. She told the terrible thing that happened in the middle of the book. This means she was all alone, an eleven year old girl alone for about a week. She had to get her own food and she also bought her own fish. Then her grandma came to take her home. She meets a friend.. you will have to see what happens next in Love, Aubrey

Cael- The Last Thing I Remember by Andrew Klavan

Charlie wakes up in a dark room and is strapped from head to toe in bars on a chair. There is a single light above him and he has to find a way to get out. There is still one question remaining... what is the last thing he remembers?
He thinks back to what he remember. Last night, he was playing  video games, and he had karate.
He wakes up and he remembers he has a karate card in his hand, and he can bust his way out... but a guy comes in with a syringe full of bubbly fluid.

Animorphs 15  blog (week 4 or 3)

The book said, "Containment failure in 2:50 (2min, 50sec). Have a nice day!" If the time is up, then they'll be a failure and/or will fail. That matters because this is serious because "containment failure" is a bad thing. Containment means keeping things together. so that means they failed to keep the water in.  They failed to escape from the water coming down on them.  That means that they are all going to drown.

Animorphs 15 (week 2)

The book says, " You may have begun the salvation of an entire race. It's either to rescue entire races or play Nintendo". If they choose to rescue entire races, they'll be saved. However, if they don't, then they'd be playing Super Mario Bros. This matters because they can do this, they're heroes, they have the power to morph into animals.

Animorphs 15: The Escape

The book says, "We can't tell you who we are. Or where we live." It means that they don't want us to know who they are like this "The world may never know!" This matters because what they say is kinda serious, but what really matters is that why should we not know where they live or who they are, but they kinda did.

Firegirl-Jenna

I just started reading the book called Firegirl. So far it's about a boy named Tom and in his class they got a new student named Jessica Feeney. But she isn't a regular new student, she was badly burned in a fire and she doesn't look like all the other 7th graders. A lot of Tom's friends kind of make fun of her but Tom he stares at her whenever she is at school (she isn't always at school because she has to get treatment at the hospital) all he thinks about is Jessica and all his friends think about Jessica but in a mean way kind of. I think Tom and Jessica are going to end up being really good friends in the end.
